Each fall and spring we get to hang out with a number of our great friends, and it seems we get to meet more great folks each show. This fall we got to play with 3 Pints Gone, Cheeks and Phoenix, The ScallyWags, and Better than Nun.
Each season there are several stages of entertainment, a variety of vendors from all over the country, and fun festival foods. Turkey legs, chocolate dipped strawberries, and the crowd favorite: Sir Edward Dragon Wings. Sir Edwards is a new staple of GPRF. We lost Ed in the summer of 2015, at this fall festival we had a chance to remember him as a community. Chivalry for Children provided a great service.
GPRF is a great time to come out and watch The ScallyWags with a lot of their classic shows: Peter Pain, BarWars, and The Pirate Dating Game. If you want to see Beard & Bean, you’ll have to come to the Pirate Smoker show at 4:00 pm each day. Essentially we gather up a bunch of rambunctious acts, give ’em some beer, and Bean in his Wizard gear creates a “Sound Proof Tent”
